Returns & Exchanges Policy

Introduction
At Unik Jewels, we take pride in the quality and hygiene of our jewellery and piercing products. Please read our returns policy carefully before making a purchase.
We offer a 30-day return window, meaning you have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return.
Upon receiving your parcel, please inspect the item while it remains sealed in its original packaging to ensure it is correct before opening. You will also need your order number when requesting a return.
Eligibility for returns
To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:
Items must remain sealed in their original clear packaging
Items must be unused and in original condition
Proof of purchase (order number) must be provided
The Returns Card included in your parcel must be completed and included in the return
Please clearly write your full name and order number on the Returns Card and include it inside your return package. This helps us identify and process your return quickly and accurately.
Important hygiene notice (piercing jewellery)
Due to hygiene and safety reasons:
Items opened from sealed packaging cannot be refunded
Opened items may be eligible only for exchange with another item of the same type or similar value
Any remaining balance from an exchange will be issued as store credit for future purchases
This policy ensures all customers receive brand-new, hygienic jewellery.
How to start a return

Your order number
Reason for return
Clear photos (if item is damaged or incorrect)
If your return is approved, we will provide instructions on how to return your item.
Items sent back without requesting a return first or without the completed Returns Card may not be accepted.
Customers are responsible for safely packaging returned items to prevent damage during transit.
Damaged, defective, or incorrect items
Please inspect your order immediately upon arrival.
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can resolve the issue promptly.
We may request photo evidence to assess the problem and provide a replacement, exchange, or refund where appropriate.
Exchanges
If you would like a different item, the quickest way is to request a return for your current item and place a new order.
This ensures:
Faster processing
Accurate stock tracking
Clear order history in your account
Opened items may only be exchanged for jewellery of equal or similar value.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.
If approved:
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Processing times may vary depending on your bank or card provider
Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item was faulty or incorrect
Please allow several business days for your financial provider to process and post the refund after it has been issued.
Non-returnable items
For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on:
Opened piercing jewellery (except for exchange eligibility)
Used items
Gift cards
Custom or personalised jewellery (if you add this later we'll include it fully)
